Camping Velebit ***

Camp Velebit is located on the mountain pass of Baška Ostarija at 927 meters above sea level, directly on the Karlobag - Gospic road. The campsite is a 20-minute drive from Karlobag and the sea, where the Mediterranean and continental climate span. The Velebit campsite offers the rental of glamping tents and wooden chalets. The campsite is open from May to October. The extensive Velebit campsite is situated in a meadow with electrical connections. The bathroom is tastefully decorated and has 8 toilets, 4 showers, 10 sinks, a place for washing dishes and two fridges. The campsite also has a communal kitchen with all the necessary equipment to prepare meals. The campsite is an ideal place for nature enthusiasts, climbers, cyclists and mushroom lovers. During the summer, air temperatures during the day are around 25°C, while at night they fall to around 15°C.
