Camp Rio is located in an olive grove by the Nereveta River, right next to an 800-metre-long sandy beach. The Croatian town of Ploče is 18 kilometres south and 8 kilometres west of Opuzen. This campsite covers an area of 3 hectares and interestingly, it is being called the Croatian California and also has a healing mud that cures rheumatism and back pain. The clean sea water is also ideal for fishing. In the camp complex you can find a shop, restaurant, beach bar, disco, football, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts.
